Member Services

A large part of our activities is keeping members informed of the latest news, issues and developments that affect the provision and use public pathology services across Australia, and canvassing their views as part of our policy and submission development activities.   
 
NCOPP runs forums for member services on current and emerging interests and issues, and discussion groups on special interest areas.

Forums have covered

• Encouraging quality use of pathology in Australia's public hospitals.

• E-health and the activities of the National E-Health Transition Authority (NeHTA).

• Preparing for the move to Medicare Online claiming for pathology with Medicare Australia.

• Strategic challenges and issues facing public pathology in Australia.
