Encouraging Quality Pathology Ordering in Australian Public Hospitals Project

NCOPP was awarded a grant under the Quality Use of Pathology Program (QUPP) of the Australian Government to undertake a project on Encouraging Quality Pathology Ordering in Australian Public Hospitals. 

The project has documented and reviewed the knowledge and experience in Australian public hospitals to better manage demand for and appropriate use of pathology in patient care, considered lessons learned and established future directions for achieving sustainable change.

The project has been completed with its report available in February 2012.

NCOPP hopes that its results will provide a useful resource to inform and guide the promotion of evidence based pathology practices.
